At SAAJ Design, we prioritize our communication with all stakeholders within the process of building your home. We understand that communication is a vital part of the client relationship and place value on listening and understanding our client’s needs in order to execute their ‘dream’ home. Through collaboration, we gain an in-depth understanding of our client’s brief: their personalized lifestyle requirements as well as the hierarchal importance of those requests. As part of the communication, we articulate our design concepts and solutions to our client through several mediums: hand sketches, tactile samples, mood boards, scale models, computerized drawings and 3D artist renderings. We also utilize complex three-dimensional Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to not only convey our architectural concepts but to also self-critique.

 Much of our work is contemporary by nature but diverse in outcome. We consider sculptural forms in order to explore ‘site responsive, client responsive’ outcomes rather than following a prescribed style for each home. The seamless integration of interior design and architecture allows us to produce highly customized outcomes that suit our client’s desires.

A collaborative approach with builders, craft artists and specialized consultants is also needed to facilitate the individual requirements of each project. Rigorous thought and analysis are employed to achieve bespoke design response solutions. We pride ourself in our meticulous attention to detail in order to make the complex simple.
